Carter's Eternal Hope is a United States Government IRS approved 501(c)(3) charity. All donations given to Carter's Eternal Hope are 100% tax deductible in accordance with United States tax law. Carter's Eternal Hope does not maintain paid staff positions and all financial gifts go directly to ministering to grieving families and sharing the gospel message of Jesus Christ. Financial stewardship and accountability are very important to this ministry. As such, all publically filed documents are available for public review at the offices of Pickett & Demuth, LTD, located at 115 N Court Street, Fergus Falls, MN 56537 during regular business hours.

Ryan Retzlaff

Ryan Retzlaff is the father of Carter Retzlaff and a founder of the Carter’s Eternal Hope ministry. In addition to his work with CEH, Ryan also serves as a volunteer in the local Young Life ministry, AWANA ministry, and is actively involved in his church community. Ryan loves basketball and participates as a coach in the local youth basketball program. Ryan works as an energy marketer and lives in Fergus Falls, MN with his wife Heidi and daughters Elsa Joy, Elin Grace, and Alayna Faith.

Heidi Retzlaff

Heidi Retzlaff is the mother of Carter Retzlaff and a founder of the Carter’s Eternal Hope ministry.  In addition to her work with CEH, Heidi is actively involved in her church community serving as a Sunday School teacher and member of the Children’s Ministry board. Heidi lives in Fergus Falls, MN with her husband Ryan and daughters Elsa Joy, Elin Grace, and Alayna Faith.

Jim Salentine

Jim Salentine is a founder of the Carter’s Eternal Hope ministry.   In addition to his work with CEH, Jim also serves as a volunteer leader in the local Young Life and Hospice ministries, and is actively involved in his church community.  Jim works as a computer consultant and lives in Fergus Falls, MN with his wife Nancy and Samoyed dog Tahoe.
